Self-Breema exercises are offered at the start of each day to practice the art of being present. Jon Schreiber, Director of the Breema Center, will be joined by a variety of Instructors from around the world for 1 hour each day. Learning and practicing Self-Breema, we establish a practical understanding, based on repeated experiences (actual tastes) of being present. This becomes our own foundation that enables us to discover new ways of thinking, feeling, and moving. It supports us to find new possibilities for living more harmoniously.
Special Topic Workshops
Special topic workshops help us apply the philosophy of Breema in our daily lives. Breema's timeless philosophy is precisely applicable to the questions and issues facing us today. In these workshops, we will look at some of these issues through the lens of Breema, and find out how we can use Breema's Principles and philosophy to harmoniously navigate the challenges we each face.
Self-Breema for Presence, Health, and Harmony
The Art and Practice of Being Present
Working with Acceptance—Challenges and Difficulties in Life
Giving and Receiving Support
The Foundation of All Relationships Is the Relationship with Myself
Experiencing Daily Life with Greater Balance
The last class of each day will offer students an hour to focus on one (and sometimes two) Principles each day. Practicing particular Self-Breema exercises will offer us graphic opportunities to work with and experience that Principle introduced in class. This will provide a foundation and jumping off point for discussion of each Principle.
A Breema Practitioner is really anyone who is actually practicing Breema's Nine Principles of Harmony in this moment. We can each aspire to be a Breema Practitioner. Becoming a Certified Breema Practitioner gives us more tools and opportunities to work with the Principles. Breema bodywork is a great support, as is Self-Breema.
Because conditions have temporarily made it more difficult to practice Breema bodywork, we have been emphasizing Self-Breema, and finding it a potent way to bring body, mind, and feelings together, as well as a tremendously supportive way to connect with others. We will learn and practice Self-Breema together, and look into Breema's philosophy and Principles to support ourselves and others.
This workshop has a pre-registration requirement of 10 hours practicing Breema bodywork in a Breema class.
"You can't separate Breema bodywork from the philosophy of Breema. And you can't separate the philosophy of Breema from the philosophy of Existence." The transformational taste of unity is the very core of Breema. Although Breema bodywork, Self-Breema exercises, and Breema's comprehensive philosophy are the three pillars of the Breema Teaching, Breema is most essentially communicated through the emanation of a seasoned Instructor while the Principles are alive for him or her.
Today's extraordinary circumstances have created the need to explore new ways of teaching and expressing Breema, without sacrificing the atmosphere that Breema depends on. We will learn Self-Breema exercises that are being introduced into the Instructor repertoire for the very first time. There will be time for questions and discussion of the issues that we are collectively facing for the first time, and how we can most effectively instruct in the current conditions.
This workshop has a pre-registration requirement of having a Certificate to teach Breema bodywork or Self-Breema exercises. Please visit breema.info/instructors or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
